Violent youth led protests dubbed Nepal’s “Gen Z Revolution” left 16 dead and over 100 injured in Kathmandu after the KP Sharma Oli government banned 26 unregistered social media platforms, prompting curfew and army deployment.

In India, the Supreme Court asked the Election Commission to accept Aadhaar as an additional ID for Bihar’s voter rolls but clarified it cannot prove citizenship, amid disenfranchisement concerns.
