Hello, potatoes! It's always crazy whenever we find out that we've been believing a lie for our entire lives, which is exactly what I feel like happened to me! I found out some interesting information about my blood type, and though it's not of importance, I thought it was a pretty mind-boggling piece of news that was quite a funny story to share. :) I also end up talking about Columbus/Indigenous Day and how a tweet from Donald Trump had sparked a part in me to discuss how I support the change of the name. I had actually uploaded a version before this one about how I felt like it is not really my place nor my connection to discuss it like I do with more familiar topics. However, that tweet along with other posts I had seen made me realize that it was not about how I personally related to it, and it was important to recognize a repressed group of people on how they used to be persecuted. I wanted to make sure I did my part in vocalizing the support for the change, regardless of my relationship to the culture. I hope this was a nice mix of an out-of-the-blue story as well as a topic worth mentioning and many more to come. :)
