Over Thanksgiving break, I had the opportunity to go on a trip to Costa Rica with just my family of four. Now before I talk more about it you don't have to take a trip to unplug, this was just my planned unplugged time and I'm bringing it to my daily life. I turned my phone completely off for an entire week. I didn't wake up and check my phone in the morning. I didn't lay down for bed and check social media just one more time. I found myself not being short with the kids, not fussing at my husband, and I thought wow there is something to this.

So after you listen to today's episode try to unplug with me! Start with two-hour chunks and see how you do! Plan ahead your time off your phone and stick to it. You've got this!
