In a matter of a couple of weeks, Arsenal has dropped 4 points from winning positions to give Manchester City hope in this season's dramatic title race. The tables have turned for Arteta and his team, and now only hold a 3-point advantage over 2nd place. The 90in60+ boys discuss the EPL title race, the race for European places, and the relegation battle. We also discuss whether managers like Xavi and Tuchel are the right managers to lead their teams.
A domino effect has occurred in football following the referee incident in Liga MX a couple of weeks ago. Since then we have seen a referee elbow Andy Robertson in the face, and multiple fights break out between players. See what Aldo, Cristian, and Saul had to say about these incidents and what the repercussions will be for referees and players going forward. We also recap everything that took place last mid-week in cup competitions, this weekend in league play, and the most recent fixtures in the UCL.
Some might call this past weekend of football a disappointing one. There were a few games that looked promising, but in the end fell flat. Manchester City vs. Liverpool, a game that would have us on the edge of our seats a couple of seasons ago saw City destroy Liverpool 4-1. Dortmund vs. Bayern Munich, De Klassiker, a game that could've given Dortmund a four point lead at the top of the Bundesliga table, but sadly Bayern beat Dortmund 4-1. Speaking of scoring four goals in a game, that's exactly what AC Milan did to Serie A league leaders Napoli. They beat them 4-0. These three games had the potential to be somehting special but we saw three teams get blows out of the water instead of three competetive games. See what Cristian and Saul had to say about these results in this weeks episode.
