The Strictly Soundtracks team travel back to the 1990s to explore gay cinema of the era. We revisit Australian queer classics (The Sum of Us, Head On), coming-of-age dramas (Beautiful Thing, The Edge of Seventeen), indie favourites (The Living End), and Hollywood flicks (Flawless, To Wong Foo…). The accompanying playlist is just as diverse as the films, with artists ranging from Taylor Dayne and Erasure to Patti LaBelle, Dannii Minogue and Sandra Bernhard.
