Have you heard of the 911 Saves Act? It's a bill before the federal government to reclassify 911 dispatchers from clerical/administrative professionals to protective services. This has the potential to open a lot more doors for dispatchers in regards to mental health care and retirements. Please reach out to your representatives and tell them to vote YES on this Bill!

Listen to us talk about all the ways dispatchers are not secretaries plus we'll talk about how 911 calls are prioritized once they are taken and what happens when we run out of resources.
