Derek Green’s first book, New World Order, was selected to launch the Autumn House Press fiction series. He has been the recipient of many awards, including the University of Michigan’s prestigious Jule and Avery Hopwood Award in Creative Writing.

Nikki Allen is the author of 12 chapbooks, and has published work with The Incredibly Thin Collective, The New Yinzer, Encyclopedia Destructica and various poetry slam anthologies. She is editing a sex anthology called The Living Room Handjob.

Anne Marie Macari is the author of She Heads into the Wilderness (Autumn House Press, 2008). Other books include Gloryland and Ivory Cradle. She directs the Drew University Low-Residency MFA Program.

Robert Marshall’s book, A Separate Reality (Carroll & Graf, 2006) was a Lambda Award Nominee for Debut Fiction. He is a novelist and visual artist living in New York City.

Jackie Kay was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1961 to a white Scottish mother and a black Nigerian father. Her many books include The Adoption Papers, Why Don’t You Stop Talking,Wish I Was Here, and Red, Cherry Red. She lives in Manchester, England.

David Trinidad teaches at Columbia College in Chicago, where he co-founded the literary journal Court Green. His many books include The Late Show, Tiny Moon Notebook, Plasticville. He edited Powerless, the selected poems of Tim Dlugos.

RJ Gibson is a student in the Warren Wilson MFA program for writers. His work has appeared or is appearing in Ocho, qarrtsiluni, Six Sentences, Knockout, and the anthology My Diva: 65 Gay Men on the Women Who Inspire Them.

Irene McKinney is the Poet Laureate of West Virginia. She is the author of five books, including Vivid Companion (Vandalia Press, 2004), Six O'Clock Mine Report (U of Pittsburgh Press, 1989), and Quick Fire and Slow Fire (North Atlantic Books, 1988).

Jane Bernstein is the author of five books, most recently Rachel in the World. Her film work includes the screenplay for the Warner Brothers movie Seven Minutes in Heaven.

Elizabeth Kirschner’s new book, My Life as a Doll, was published by Autumn House Press in 2008. Other books include Twenty Colors, Postal Routes and Slow Risen Among the Smoke Trees, all by Carnegie-Mellon University Press.
