Word of the Day – CursoryTranscriptHi everyone.  Today's word of the day is cursory.  Cursory means to do something hasty, to do something quickly without careful attention to detail.  Cursory is often paired with the word “glance”.  And we can say “cursory glance”.  A cursoryglance is usually referring to looking at something quickly.  Glance is a quick look for maybe a second so we can describe the way we're reading or the way that we're doing something by saying, “We gave it a cursory glance.
