We crave social engagement, the likes, the comments and the shares, it makes us feel valued and leaves a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

You could argue that you need engagement or the bots will stop showing your content, and while that is both valid and true, if you're posting for comments and not to generate leads, then your strategy is broken.
