15- vuotias Zach, joka oli ollut tuona päivänä kipeänä, oli kuullut alakerrasta tömähdyksen, ja uskonut sen olevan hänen koulusta kotiin palannut 13- vuotias veljensä Greg.

Laskeuduttuaan alakertaan Zach löysi Gregin makaamasta verilammikosta talon kodinhoitohuoneesta.
