A game inspired by fantasy fiction and hopes to offer an alternative to D&D and other fantasy RPGs for players more interested in telling dramatic stories than killing, "looting", and counting torches. Against the Odds uses the PbtA framework and follows along the example of the most modern incarnations of that philosophy, such as Masks: A New Generation, Avatar Legends, and Urban Shadows.
