95bFM: Fabian's Hollywood

Fabian Fanboy's got some tips for good movies to check out while it's cold out. For something good, Ingrid Goes West, for something great, Little Woods, for something scary, Child's Play, and something for kids, The Secret Life of Pets 2. Nice.

Chatting to Rachel from LA about movies and weather. Whilst the weather is confused, Fabian's got some clear sight on what movies you needa check out this weekend, Willow and Men In Black.

LA's bustling and Fabian Fanboy's on the move, but before going too far, he's got a few good movie reckons (or not so reckons) for us folk stuck in stormy Tāmaki. Fabian mentions X-Men Dark Phoenix, and Tolkien, but... Are they actually any good?

Fabian's got a recommendation for an older film today (we're talking 2018) Can You Ever Forgive Me?, and Rachel asks for some hot picks for this stormy weekend in Tāmaki. Fabian reckons Rocket Man is definitely a hit but he's not sold on Godzilla: King of the Monsters, you'll have to see for yourself.

Fabian Fanboy dials in from glamorous Hollywood, talking about his catch up with Will Smith, the re-make of Aladdin (too soon?) and Brightburn.

Taking us to the streets of Tinsletown, Fabian Fanboy chats to Rachel about some upcoming releases and his plans for the weekend. Talking John Wick 3: Parabellum, and Pokémon Detective Pikachu, are these two must-sees Fabian?

Fabian Fanboy calls in from Tinsletown to talk movies with Rachel, special mentions go to All Is True, and The Hustle, your favourite english teachers, and Anne Hathaway. Wholesome content.

Fabian's looking forwards to the new Hellboy movie, and the film Little but is the new Lego Movie actually any good? And of course, Fabian Fanboy just wants to know how Mike is. Awww.

Fabian's in Hollywood and oh wow it's very busy (he says) but he's actually really excited about a film here in Aotearoa, Vai, featuring nine Pasifika women filmmakers are Sharon and Nicole Whippy, Becs Arahanga, Amberley Jo Aumua, Matasila Freshwater, Dianna Fuemana, Mīria George, 'Ofa-ki Guttenbeil-Likiliki and Marina Alofagia McCartney. Fabian is excited about this number from his hometown, as well as a couple of other special mentions. Woo.

Us has just been released and it seems like everyone is talking about it, including Fabian Fanboy, but does it live up to the hype? Fabian catches up with Mikey about his recommended new releases.
