  • Why I believe you should adhere to a wholefood sustainable eating plan and ditch the diets forever.

    1. Sustainability: Many diets are not sustainable in the long term. They often involve restrictive eating that can lead to yo-yo dieting, which can be harmful to both physical and mental health. Focusing on balanced, intuitive eating can foster a healthier relationship with food.

    2. Mental Health: Dieting can contribute to negative body image and disordered eating patterns. The pressure to adhere to strict rules can create anxiety and guilt around food, whereas a non-diet approach encourages self-acceptance and mindfulness.

    3. Individual Variation: What works for one person may not work for another. Diets often promote a one-size-fits-all mentality, ignoring individual differences in metabolism, lifestyle, and preferences. Emphasising personalised nutrition and wellness can be more effective and fulfilling.
