In this episode Damien chats to Allison Leatham, a 31 year old single mother of two, self described advocate and queer person, working as a Registered Nurse at a regional Victorian hospital’s Emergency Department. She also volunteers for various organisations including GV Pride and wants to improve the representation of LGBTQIA+ people in regional areas and advocates for sexuality and gender diverse patients, families and fellow staff.” She talks about experiences with mental health and domestic violence, bisexuality, having a family/being a single mum, health and patient advocacy.
