Let's be honest. The Old Testament is hard. How are we supposed to read it? How do we make sense of it all? This week, we take a deeper look at the Old Testament and how we as believers are called to engage with it as Holy Scripture.

Why does it always feel like we forget the things we need to remember, and remember the things we wish we could forget? Living life in remembrance of God is absolutely essential to our spiritual formation. The way we do this is through the discipline of memorizing Scripture. This week we explore why memorizing Scripture is so important and how we should do it.

What is wrestling with scripture and why should we do it? Today we explore the importance of wading into the sacred words of God and struggling with the text — the good, the hard to understand, and even the parts we wish weren’t there.

What does it mean to submit to the authority of Scripture? And why does that sound so horrible to us? Perhaps, we have misunderstood the beauty of Biblical authority and how the Bible can become an access point to life the way it was always meant to be lived. This week, we explore the authority of Scripture with a little help from Star Wars.

What is the Bible? Is it just a holy rulebook, a guide to life, or something more? When we come to understand what the Bible really is, we are able to enter into a story that transcends our time.

We all know that the Bible is an important part of following Jesus, by so many of us struggle reading it. Perhaps the problem isn't in our effort or our technique, but in our posture. This week, we explore what posture God calls us to have as we approach Scripture and how it could lead us into an encounter with the Word of God.

When we seek rest, we look toward vacations, self-care, sabbaths, etc. But what if Biblical holistic rest is so much more? When Jesus got tired, He found rest inn doing the Father's will. Jesus shows us that there is a rest and fulfillment that come only when we're able to take our eyes off of ourselves and focus on helping others.
