Bournemouth have never lost at St Andrews, and on Friday night in front of the cameras, this records continued in style, as Cherries put in a solid performance which showed a lot of promise to overcome Coventry 3-1.

Whilst the showing was strong, the same typical traits of having large spells of possession without scoring were evident, but whilst the Sky Blues equalised in the first half, the second half was a different story.

Indeed, the issues in the first half were corrected in the second with the help of midfield maestro Dan Gosling who scored a couple of goals to secure the win. It was a relaxed, it was routine, and it was a great victory against a team which had no Danjuma, no King, no Kelly, no Stanislas, and no Riquelme... positive signs as we head into the international break!
