- Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Do you plan to travel this year?
- According to AAA, 53.4 million people will travel this year. 48.4 million of those will be by automobile.
- If you plan on renting a vehicle for the upcoming holiday, make sure to prepare. Daily car rentals have increased by 4% compared to last Thanksgiving by $98.
- According to AAA, over 400,000 people will break down this year. Before you hit the road, do a mini car inspection. Check your tires, fluids, battery, etc. Make sure you also have a spare tire and a jack just in case!
- Are you looking for the best time to travel? Drivers will see the heaviest traffic this weekend.
- The worst time to travel on Saturday is from 2 – 7 p.m. The best time to travel on Saturday is before noon.
- The worst time to travel on Sunday is from 1-7 p.m., and the best time is before noon.

- The first day of fall was September 22nd… Believe it or not, but fall weather is right around the corner.
- Before the weather gets cooler, Sarah wanted to run over a fall maintenance check list with Dustin:
- Make sure your heather and defroster are working properly.
- Check and/or replace your windshield wipers.
- Make sure to include things like: blanket, jacket, ice scraper, and jumper cables in your vehicle.
- Make sure your tires are in good shape and you’re keeping your pressure checked. Sarah asks about winter tires & the best to use for the snow and ice.
- Check your battery.
- Have your fluids checked and changed.
- Dustin talks about a good additive to add to your windshield wiper fluid to keep your wipers working properly.
- Dustin also talks about a good substitute instead of jumper cables.
