  • According to AAA, 53.4 million people will travel this year. 48.4 million of those will be by automobile.
  • If you plan on renting a vehicle for the upcoming holiday, make sure to prepare. Daily car rentals have increased by 4% compared to last Thanksgiving by $98.
  • According to AAA, over 400,000 people will break down this year. Before you hit the road, do a mini car inspection. Check your tires, fluids, battery, etc. Make sure you also have a spare tire and a jack just in case!
  • Are you looking for the best time to travel? Drivers will see the heaviest traffic this weekend.
  • The worst time to travel on Saturday is from 2 – 7 p.m. The best time to travel on Saturday is before noon.
  • The worst time to travel on Sunday is from 1-7 p.m., and the best time is before noon.
