Supertramp's "Take The Long Way Home," may be the road trip music for some drivers today as a 153 ton "Superload" is shuttled from Monroeville to Ohio. The huge nearly 28-foot wide cone, which resembles a flying saucer is so big, that as it makes its trek across Western Pennsylvania to Ohio, that PennDOT is warning drivers to be prepared for a rolling slowdown....because it will need to take up two lanes of traffic and going at a max of 30 miles per hour. Where? It will start on the Tri Boro Expressway in Monroeville.....get onto 130, 48 and William Penn Highway, then onto 22....286, Alpine Village Drive then onto 22 and 119 into Jefferson County....rolling onto 436 and 36 before it gets onto I-80 in Brookville. From there....it's off to its destination in Ohio, so expect delays on the Interstate in Clarion and Butler Counties. PennDOT says you might want to look for an alternate route because of the delays this will create. Otherwise, remain alert and patient
