The massive storm is grounding dozens of fights at Pittsburgh International. About 25 outbound flights and 15 incoming flights were called off, including routes to New York City, Newark, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. More than 8,000 flights have been canceled nationwide.Travelers heading out of Pittsburgh are urged to check their flight status before leaving for the airport and be prepared for possible delays or additional cancellations. If you’re able to rebook, that may be your best option. And if your flight is canceled and you decide not to travel, you are entitled to a refund. It’s also recommended to review your airline’s travel waiver policies so you understand your options.
