Rhonda has, for over 30 years, been in the field of international development, humanitarian and post-disaster recovery and reconstruction, and peace operations programming, primarily at the Canadian International Development Agency, United Nations Development Program, and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. She has also worked on issues related to human security and conflict. We talk about her 30 years of work and the ups and downs of international aid both for development and disaster relief. We discuss the concept of temporary basic income in times of distress, and Rhonda points to an article by the UN Development Program (UNDP) that describes this concept. We also talk about the institutions ebbf and the Wilmette Institute.
