This week I am taking some time to reflect on some missed opportunities that I didn't take advantage of, especially when it comes to travel. Travel is a big part of who I am, and also who we are in the human experience. Stepping out of my comfort zone to explore different cultures, languages, food, history and art are all moments I wish every individual had the opportunity and privilege to experience. Unfortunately, that is not the case and I have sometimes taken that for granted. In this episode, I tell you the worst experience I ever had abroad in 2016 as an amateur and naïve traveler. The anxiety inducing moments recalled of this story of Spain were absolutely terrifying at the time, but looking back now I am happy to say I smile and even laugh thinking of them now.
