FUN, ENGAGING AND AN EXCELLENT READ!
This latest book by Annette is truly a great portrait of Alaska and some of the people you might meet there. Mixed with a chance meeting and a touch of romance, the characters are engaging and are well done. The kind of people you would like to meet and call your friend. I can only regret that the story ended and the reader doesn't get to spend more time with Robin and Charlie and hope that there might be another story coming someday. I really can and do recommend this book for anyone who wants a break from dark stories and wants to read something fun and anything set it Alaska is almost a certain winner in my book.
Engaging and worth time reading
The author was able to create realistic characters, interactions and outcomes that moved the story along very enjoyably. The warmth and cleverness of the characters responses made me smile. I will definitely read whatever else this writer publishes. Thanks Annette Drake.
Finding Love in Anchorage
A fun little romp. When Charlie finds himself stranded in Anchorage with Robin,a woman in a difficult situation, he coaxes her into a fun day of playing tourist. During their time together, a tenuous bond is formed. As an Anchorage resident, I enjoyed visiting all the familiar places in the story and can vouch for their accuracy. A very nice little romance.
I fell in love with Charlie after the first chapter
I fell in love with Charlie after the first chapter. What a delightful read. I would recommend it to everyone. It is one of those books that makes you smile and feel good when you complete it.
Fun read with strong Alaskan woman
Loved this story. Didn't care for the end...Wish Robin and Charlie's story was continued in another book. This is the first book by Annette Drake that I've read. Enjoyed her writing style and plan to read more by her.
