Financial advisory fraud looks to be extremely complex in makeup, and it can feel really overwhelming to try to understand all the nuance and how it happens. But when you break it down, you will find it’s actually not. It’s simply manipulation against a backdrop where neither party can be held legally responsible.  In this episode in the Great Fraud Fightback series, Amber talks us through a case study of how she was manipulated into parting with her savings and was essentially trapped in a Trust she had set up in Jersey via her financial advisor and Guardian Trust Company Ltd as part of a long term savings plan.
