This time on ScaleUp Radio I speak with Adam Jacobs the owner of Bloom Procurement Services.

 

Bloom is an innovative business that links the public sector and it’s needs for services with suppliers based on output needs not procurement contracts. They started just over 10 years ago, have 100 staff and celebrated their 10 year anniversary in the Houses of Parliament.

 

What’s interesting in Adam’s story is how being an entrepreneurial leader is about ensuring the vision is great, and that everyone always understands it. It is never a once and done thing!

 - Your business culture is never done. You must work at it constantly and develop it.

 - You must build the “plumbing” first to make the value flow, then you can scale your business.
