We won.
Me and God, that is.
With the Lord as my guide, my coach in the boxing ring that’s been this becoming process and podcast journey — I fought the best fight of my life and WE WON.
The devil tried to stop this. He worked hard to derail my becoming. And we know weapons may form BUT they do not prosper.
So, if you would help me by listening to this retelling of a hard-fought battle and VICTORY and please, please enjoy this finale episode of A Cairos Moment the podcast — season one.

Wanna play a quick game with me, please?
What does an olive oil and wine have in common?...
Answer: they both have to endure some sort of refining process before becoming the purified products we use to cook or enjoy a relaxing evening.
*raises hand* I know what that's like! I, too, have been experiencing my own season of refinement -- one of which takes me by storm at times but has been so instrumental to birthing the new and improved me.
Major shoutout to The Potter, God, for handling his precious work of art with such care throughout this journey. Join me, as we discuss my undoing.

Let's all pull out our pens and notepads, please.
Because I think it is imperative we jot down this definition of the word *control* -- "To have power or authority over an entity," says Google. "The distinct right or ability to govern, direct, or determine outcomes," the web also has it.
So, yeah. Considering the truth that my life is not my own and God's plan prevails always, I had to relinquish that thing. I had to release control and yield to a life of total surrender.
And I felt the Lord nudging me to share what this journey of surrender looks like for me. Please enjoy this very vulnerable episode of ACM the pod.

Anybody know if Home Depot sells indestructible shovels?
Because that is the only physical tool I think will be able to withstand the deep, deep digging required for BURYING my fear.
Yes -- fear as a stronghold has held me captive, kept me from seeing my dreams to fruition, and most importantly, living as the woman God created me to be.
So would you join me, friends, as I unpack this "false evidence appearing real" and my partnering with the Lord on releasing fear?
Because while putting faith over fear works well, I had to place my fear way under my faith. I had to bury it.

Someone throw me a towel, please.
Cus' I've got a lot of sweat to wipe off while running this great race that is...Becoming.
What is it, I'm Becoming, you might ask? Well, that's exactly what we get into with this first episode of ACM.
Here's a hint: You've existed on earth for 30-something years already but one day, you realize you might've never been really living.
When Jesus so gently taps you on the shoulder with the most fulfilling wake-up call you've ever received, you embark on the journey to a life of peace, joy and clarity.
Now, purpose is much more clear.
Join me, friends, as we discuss My Exodus and the story behind my Kairos Moment.

Imagine this:
You just quit your job. It's a role you once dreamed of attaining. And you spent more than a decade working towards it.
You had an unplanned baby, moved back to your parents' home, experienced financial and mental challenges and felt so lost.
It seemed as if everything was falling apart. But when God shows up in a mighty way one morning, you realize your season of wilderness is, in fact, not a storm.
It's God's appointed time to act.
A Cairos Moment is more than just a podcast. It's a passion project. It's purpose unfolding. It's what lives at the intersection of surrender, obedience, vulnerability, faith and favor.
Host Jamia Anderson, a journalist-turned-entrepreneur who knew she was called to more, invites listeners on a deeply personal journey of life after giving God her "Yes" and acting on her Kairos Moment.
Each of ACM's raw, heartfelt and inspiring episodes leave listeners with a thought-provoking question that might make you wonder if it's your time to act...
