Billy Atwell speaks to Fr. Robert Schriber, parochial vicar of Our Lady of Lourdes, who recently participated in a Vatican Observatory astronomy workshop.  Fr. Schriber talks about his love of astronomy,, the Vatican Observatory and how looking up to the stars deepens his faith.

Billy Atwell talks to Joseph Beyer, founder of Beyer Studio in Philadelphia.  Beyer Studio specializes in stained glass restoration. They will be restoring 40 stained glass windows from Assumption Church in Philadelphia to be installed in the new Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral.  They will also be preparing 50 new windows for the new cathedral with handmade glass from Germany. He will be using the same techniques as the original designer.  Mr. Beyer discussed craftsmanship, the windows’ original designer, and the benefit of adding existing windows to new construction.

During a visit to Rome in which Bishop Burbidge was able to visit with Diocese of Raleigh seminarians and attend the opening of the Year of Mercy, Bishop Burbidge also met with Pope Francis. During that exchange, Pope Francis blessed the cornerstone for Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral and assured Bishop Burbidge of his prayers for the people of the Diocese of Raleigh.

Billy Atwell's guest today is Dana Catherine, a local Catholic Christian singer and songwriter. She talks about how she found her voice as a songwriter and the recording of her debut album, Glorious Horizons. Billy and Dana also talk about the rise of a Christian message in today’s entertainment industry.

Bishop Michael Burbidge talks to Billy Atwell about the recent Synod On The Family.  They discuss the major topics of the synod and how we can "accompany" others on the walk when talking about these issues.
