Gilbert and George welcome author Colleen MacFarlane on this episode of Galaxy Moonbeam Night Site. On this show she tells us how she began writing, and about her varied career paths which brought her to where she is now. She tells us of her personal knowledge in selecting the topics for these two books, gained from life experiences. In "Life Lessons From Lucy the Schnauzer", a book written for children, she tells us how a loyal dog can help children to learn important life lessons. "Ivy's Epilepsy" follows a young girl with this condition, and how her friends support her in her daily life. In addition the book describes how a perceptive dog can help in warning a patient about an impending attack. Two engaging and interesting books to consider.
