This eight-part Talmud series will be exploring the Halachic debate surrounding the 18th century story of the chicken without a heart found in the German city of Altona. The course will analyze the reasoning behind the different rulings regarding the Halachic status of the chicken, and open a window into the relationship between science and Halacha. 

In this episode we will analyze the theory of Rabbi Yonatan Eibishitz, supported by professors at the University of Halle, and will conclude with the final ruling in Jewish law.
