A CHRISTIAN EMPLOYEE: BOUND BUT FREE (Part 2)
A Christian Employee: Bound But Free (Part 2) - 1 Timothy 6:1-2a

Last week, the sermon, as can be read in 1 Timothy 5:17-18, centered on the care that the Church ought to give to its Elders, in particular attending to their needs in order for them to grow in their excellence in the preaching and teaching of God's Word. In other words, to give Elders their well-deserved honor and trust is biblical and righteous, because the Gospel is fully displayed in doing so.
As continuation, the focus will now be on 1 Timothy 5:19-25, which speaks of how it shall be ensured by the Church that only the truly qualified ones be in the office of Elders. As what Paul instructed Timothy to do to Elders who "persist in sin": "...rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear." (1 Timothy 5:20).
