Daily Bread

Matthew 7:3-5 New International Version (NIV)

3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

GOOD NEWS!

The new york times reported on story where over 5,000 people stunned event organizers last weekend when they answered a call for a stem cell donor for a 5-year-old cancer patient, breaking Britain’s record for such an event.

Daily Bread

Matthew 18:15-30

15 “If your brother sins, go and show him his fault when the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have regained your brother. 16 But if he does not listen, take one or two others with you, so that at the testimony of two or three witnesses every matter may be established. 17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. If he refuses to listen to the church, treat him like a Gentile or a tax collector.

“Let me encourage you to put the mouse and keyboard aside and find a group to play games with in person.  Board games, tabletop, even a LAN party! That kind of cooperative play is great team building interaction and an excellent chance to use your imagination.  From experience, you will be glad you got out there and had fun. For me, I don’t get out often enough so I love spending time with my friends online. God calls us to be in fellowship with our fellow believers, together in one place, building each other up, so give the game night thing a try!
