Married for barely 9 years a young couple with a toddler daughter in tow were roaming late in the evening in the streets of Calcutta to find a doctor. 

What started as a mild pain in the husband’s stomach was getting worse and by hours. By a sheer coincidence they met a consultant physician who they knew. After examining the husband, he told that, he needs to undergo a surgery immediately. 

The husband asked for a few days’ time to prepare for the surgery. At the end of a month neither he had money on him nor was it possible to contact anyone for seeking assistance. 

The physician said that, if the surgery was not done that night itself, it could never be done; as he will not survive to see the next morning. 

What would they do? 

How would the young wife save her husband’s life? 

Who would take care of their baby who was very hungry and thirsty by then? 

They prayed for a miracle to happen.
