God sees the complete view of human history and far beyond into eternity. His fulfilled promises in the short game should give us confidence that He never leaves a promise undone. While aspects of Jeremiah's prophetic word from God were complete in 537 B.C. there are other fulfilments that are yet to come. God has demonstrated the ultimate commitment to His word through Jesus so we can have a confident hope that Old Testament prophecies that remain incomplete will one day be fulfilled. It's just a matter of time.
