Senator Peter Durant, a Spencer Republican, told various media outlets that he is considering a run for governor of Massachusetts in 2026. The Republican potential believes Gov. Maura Healey is “beatable” and that there is “an opportunity here.” Durant is still mulling over the decision and plans to make a decision before Memorial Day of this year. Sen.
