Quinton Markett is a Researcher at the Stanford University School of Medicine within the Immunology & Rheumatology Division, as well as the CEO and Co-Founder of a San Jose based non-profit organization called Good Samaritans of Silicon Valley focused on supporting the community of the Silicon Valley who don’t have healthy food to eat or essential items needed to live a healthy life.
Quinton is one of the most disciplined and driven individuals I have talked to. His dedication to a life of service in striving to become a physician centers around his "Why?" of "providing quality healthcare on a level he would want his family to receive." Along with the academic papers and books he wants to contribute to the medical community and the public.
We talk about his 3:45 am wake up routine he developed in college and its evolution to what it is now, personal discipline in how he operates through life and through his thoughts and actions, what he’s learned servicing his community and having conversations with the marginalized, and much much more.
