In this episode, I talk about a tragic story that has been sitting heavily on my mind, a secondary school student who reportedly lost his life after falling into a reservoir while trying to fetch water.

It made me reflect on the state of things around us, the realities many people are forced to live with, and how normalized suffering has become in this country. At some point, “May Nigeria not happen to me” stopped sounding like a joke and started sounding like a genuine prayer.

I also talk about exams, the stress that comes with lecturers saying one thing and setting another, and the mental exhaustion that follows trying to stay prepared for the unexpected.
