This lesson teaches us that we see no neutral things because our thoughts about what we see are not neutral. We do not see anything that is really alive or joyous. Perception is highly variable and so how could it be that we see anything correctly. Our real thoughts are with God, and these are the thoughts that will bring us true happiness.
