A Course in Miracles with MiraclesOne

Hello Course Students,

In this week's episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles, I highlight one very important Lesson out of the review Lessons (143-149) we worked with this past week. In Lesson 143, Jesus asks us to review Lesson 125 - In quiet I receive God's Word today. Considering the recent tragic shootings at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, this review couldn't have come at a better time. At a time when our hearts feel broken and we are unsure of what we can do to facilitate positive change in the world, we learn that it is possible to hear God speak to us. Reasons like these emphasize the importance of learning how to listen now more than ever! As we continue to practice and learn how to hear Him, the potential positive impact to our lives and the lives of those around us is unlimited. God will speak to us - literally - if we but take the time to go within and listen. To learn more about this miracle and how to perform it for yourself, please take a few minutes to watch this video.

Love,
Rev. Paul

Hello Course Students,

Over the past week we worked on Lessons 136 though 142 and received a lot of great information about what is going on with us in the illusion, and how to work on making corrections with the help of the Holy Spirit. Jesus shares that it is really us who makes ourselves sick and not the outside world. He also explains that we can work with the Holy Spirit to make the decision stop making ourselves sick. Lastly, he cautions us about the misperception that a healed body is a cured spiritual mind. This episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles dives into these concepts and more.

Blessings from the Light, Rev. Paul

Vacations can be so much fun for a lot of reasons - taking a break from the stress of everyday work, finding fresh air and new surroundings, relaxing and having no worries. Once you begin to discover and experience the miracle gifts waiting within, you will be energized to learn more about this wonderful vacation spot that's available to you now!

Greetings Mighty Companions,

I'm excited to share that Jesus guided me to share a message and dialoging practice in this episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles. His message is that He is accessible to each and every one of us now! He gave me simple steps on how to reach out to him during our practice meditations to begin a simple dialogue. Of course, this is a perfect time for Him to bring this up, because we have been working with Lessons in the Workbook (122 through 128) which are stepping up our practice of listening for the Voice of God. To learn more about how you can start your own dialogues with Jesus, and hearing the Voice of God, check out this video.

Many Blessings,
Rev Paul

Greetings Everyone,

All of this week's Lessons had us reviewing ideas that focused on leading us down the path to joy. They included forgiveness, remembering the truth, we were originally created happy, and our Teacher is here to help us with the whole journey. If you've been experiencing a miserable life, despair, a sense of hopelessness, and been feeling alone with your problems, then make sure you study and practice Lesson 121 frequently and well. It is a classic and speaks well to the journey of despair many go through and, more importantly, the way out. If you're one of these people, dedicate yourself to working with your Internal Teacher, the Holy Spirit, as much as possible. The more you do, the quicker you will find a happier life for yourself. It's a promise from Jesus himself.

Many Blessings,
Rev. Paul

Hello Course Students,

Many of you are far enough along in your practice of the Lessons that you are gaining the understanding on how dialoging with the Holy Spirit works. This is also a crucial step toward understanding your part in God's plan for salvation. You are discovering that it's easy to ask Holy Spirit questions and then receive answers in just a few minutes. This is great news because you are crossing the threshold from the Lessons being a daily chore to the pleasant experience of receiving your own answers from your Inner Friend. Good for you! In this episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles, I touch on Lessons 108 through 114 with an emphasis on the ease of five-minute dialogues with Holy Spirit and the problem of frequently forgetting to practice our lessons throughout the day.

Many Blessings,
Rev. Paul

Hello Mighty Companions,

In Lessons 100 through 107, Jesus shares with us wonderful new ideas, some even surprising, to ponder. Sin and pain are but illusions and are not necessary. We have an unnecessary fear of God that prevents us from experiencing His joy. And we can choose to bypass these illusions anytime we like to discover the truth beneath. Through the practice of frequent meditation, as these lessons are teaching us, we can find our hidden joy, happiness, peace, security, and love of our True Selves. Once the truth about ourselves is discovered, we can bring it back into our daily walk of joy within the world.

Many Blessings,
Rev. Paul

Cheers Course Students,

As we worked through Lessons 94 through 100 this past week we saw that Jesus had us practice going deep to literally feel the Christ within, hear the Holy Spirit Speak to us, and experience the happiness God gave us in our creation. He also addresses the problem of losing focus during mediations and the periodic practicing of the lessons. The big message being, don't throw in the towel. When you catch yourself forgetting to practice, forgive yourself then re-engage immediately. Don't use excuses to delay your mind healing. Speaking of mind healing, I experienced an unexpected mind healing during my practice of Lesson 100 a few mornings ago. The Holy Spirt began communicating with me about why I was looking forward to meeting my long-time Star Trek hero, Captain Kirk (William Shatner), in a few hours at a convention gathering. The healing was both unexpected and wonderful to receive which I share about in this video. It was a great reminder of one of the many gifts the Holy Spirit can grace us with as we learn how to let Him help us to awaken from the dream.

Many Blessings,
Rev. Paul

Hello Course Students,

I found Lessons 87 through 93 to be an wonderful group of lessons because of the variety of definitions that were touched upon. They included: true perception, seeing the light, seeing the miracle, grievances making darkness, vision, strength of light and joy of light. Most of these terms refer to learning how to use the tool of light to save ourselves from misery. In this episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles, I share my insights on these terms and how you can use the tool of your inner light to collapse time and heal yourself from sadness within a few minutes. We truly are learning how to become miracle workers - how exciting!

Wishing you the Miracle of Joy,
Rev. Paul

Hello Course Students,

The unfortunate events unfolding in Ukraine has been weighing heavily on the minds of millions around the planet, myself included. Rev. Deb suggested I talk about the situation and how the lessons could be applied. Sensing that this could be an emotionally triggering topic for many, I decided to consult with Jesus about what I could say. As usual, He shared words that were comforting and made sense. I felt better after listening to him for awhile. I could feel his compassion coming through. In today's episode of Insights on A Course in Miracles, I touch briefly on the lessons we practiced over the last week, Lessons 80-86, and mostly share a message on how we can be truly helpful to those in need around the world.

Take care,
Rev. Paul
