You've heard the phrase, too much of a good thing is a bad thing. Well, the same is true for gardening.
Too much fertilizer can actually harm the plants and overgrown plants can suffocate young, undergrowth on the same plant, blocking it from getting the nutrients it needs.
If our life is a garden, there are certainly some things that have overgrown and, quite frankly, have overstayed their welcome. We need to cognizant of those areas of our lives that are good, but could also hinder our growth if we fail to put them in their proper place.
