A Daily Walk on Oneplace.com

You may have heard it said, It’s what’s on the inside that counts! It’s true as we’ll learn today on a Daily Walk through a study in Matthew chapter 15. The religious leaders of Jesus’ day were more concerned with what the outside looked like as opposed to the heart on the inside.

We have a great message in store for you today, because we are currently studying one of the greatest chapters in the Bible, Matthew fourteen. God is wanting us to trust Him, but you may have noticed we often struggle in that area. Today we draw your attention to Jesus feeding five thousand people with a young boy’s lunch, and then He walks on the water, and calls Peter out of the boat to join Him! We’re learning to trust in Jesus and step out in faith from Matthew chapter fourteen.

When you’re going through a really hard time, it’s a good idea to get away and have some alone time with God. We’ll see Jesus model that for us today on a Daily Walk through a study in Matthew fourteen. We’ll then go on to see our Lord and Savior minister to the multitudes in the midst of His pain.

Somebody does you wrong, is the first thought in your mind, Oooh they’re gonna get it! The world would have you believe, you have every right to retaliate! We have a tremendous capacity for retaliation. But God would have us go in another direction. On today’s a Daily Walk pastor John Randall contrasts the world’s way of thinking to what Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount - Turn the other cheek.
