A Daily Walk on Oneplace.com

Today Pastor John Randall begins a new book of the Bible - Second Timothy. It’s the apostle Paul’s last book that he wrote - just before he was martyred for his faith. If you were awaiting your death, in a dungeon, you might be down and depressed… but not Paul! He had a thankful heart and was quick to praise God and pray for others! What a great example to us.

But have you ever seen your job that way- as a place where you can serve and honor God? Not only that, but it’s a mission field too! Today on a Daily Walk pastor John Randall will help us see our work in this way.

The pastor like a shepherd of sheep is called to feed, lead and protect the flock. It’s a big job but should they be compensated for that? As we get back into First Timothy we open up chapter five - and broach the subject of providing for the pastor and church staff.
