The plan today is to finish Mark chapter one. If you’ll recall, Jesus has just spent some alone time with the heavenly Father in prayer. Right on the heels of this devotional time, came an opportunity for ministry! Today we’ll be introduced to a leper who Jesus encounters and his life would never be the same as a result. We’ll notice how he came to the Lord and how we can too!

So how’s your devotional life going? If you’re like many, you’d probably say, it’s not where it should be! We’d do well to do some self-examination and if need be make a commitment to daily time in prayer and the Word. And that’s modeled for us by Jesus in Mark chapter one. Pastor John Randall is in the early going of his study of the Gospel of Mark and it’s been quite a blessing learning about the beginning of Jesus’ ministry in Galilee. Imagine there you are in church. Jesus is in the middle of an amazing teaching, and then a demon possessed man suddenly cries out and disrupts the service!
