Anxiety is a real problem for many of us. Just look at the rising use of anti-anxiety medication as evidence of that. And maybe that’s something that you deal with? When it happens, what should you do? Let’s talk about that today on a Daily Walk with pastor John Randall. John will address the cause and the cure for anxiety, as we visit the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew six.

We’re back in the book of John here on a Daily Walk. We’ll meet up with pastor John Randall in chapter one. As followers of Christ we’re called to be witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth! Question is, are we effective witnesses? Today John will point out what an effective witness looks like. It starts with being loving and honest. But it also involves humility, a trait we can see clearly in John the Baptist.

Our verse by verse study of John continues today on a Daily Walk with a look at a man sent from God to prepare the way for the Messiah. Pastor John Randall will show us that there is much we can glean from the life of John the Baptist, that will help us live for the Lord today and be His witness. His desire was to see Jesus magnified, and that sure stands out. He was also called to be a witness and he was obedient to that calling. Let’s see how we can be the same.

We'll be in John chapter one today on a Daily Walk. It’s interesting to observe the picture John paints of the Messiah. Right from the outset, He makes it clear that Jesus is God, who came into the world as the true light to offer life to as many as would receive Him. And it’s a message the world today desperately needs to hear and receive.

When a person becomes a Christian it is vitally important that they begin a daily time of study in God’s Word. I personally know of quite of few who would recommend the Gospel of John as a good place to start. It serves as a great foundation in our understanding of Jesus and His deity. And today, we begin a verse by verse journey through John.

We’re excited about today’s program as we polish off our rather lengthy study of Luke! Just before His ascension Jesus gave His disciples marching orders, to go into the world and preach the gospel and live the gospel! We refer to this as the Great Commission. And it’s something we’re to be engaged in too!
