A Daily Walk on Oneplace.com

We're going to be introduced to a couple of the leading characters in the end times.... the antichrist and his sidekick the false prophet! We've already become acquainted with the antichrist to some degree last time. We’re told that he’ll receive worldwide acceptance through deception and the world will buy the lie hook, line and sinker. They marvel, worship and follow him.

As we continue our study through Revelation with pastor John Randall we’ve reached chapter twelve. We’re going to learn about one of the great battles of all time, one that’s been fought since the beginning of time and one that continues today. It’s the battle between satan and God. Pastor John Randall is in the middle of a study in Revelation. Does it appear to you that the kingdom of darkness is advancing, and evil is on the rise? I don’t think you’re alone in that assessment. But today we’ll hear about a time when God will put an end to the evil in the world, and setup His Kingdom on the earth! Talk about something to get excited about.

Isn’t it great to take a timeout in the middle of a stressful day and get a breath of fresh air? In a way, that’s what we’re going to do as we continue our study through the book of Revelation. The last part of Chapter eleven provides a chance to step back. We’re about halfway through the Great Tribulation - a time of unprecedented destruction and suffering. In Chapter eleven - we will learn about the third woe, or the seventh trumpet judgment. And this results in a point where God is worshipped. There’s plenty going on in this section of Revelation. Join us in chapter eleven, beginning in verse fifteen!

We are continuing our verse by verse study through Revelation with pastor John Randall. Last time we had just begun to get to know the two witnesses, described for us in chapter eleven, when we ran out of time. So today, pastor John will bring us the rest of his message. As is the case with much of this book, debate has raged over the real identity of the two preachers, and Pastor John will point out the varying opinions that exist. We’ll also find out today that we too as Christians our witnesses of Jesus, called to represent heaven.

We’ve been studying the Book of Revelation here lately as part of our thru the Bible study. During the Tribulation period the Lord will send out two witnesses to testify of His grace, love and forgiveness. Though they’ll have the power and authority of God they’ll be opposed at every turn. Similarly we’re called to be God’s witnesses in a hostile environment. Thankfully we have the power of the Spirit to help.
