There is an ongoing dispute in Ipswich, MA over a proposal to remove a centuries-old dam in the center of town. Lawn signs reading “Save Our Dam” and “Free The River” have spread across the town of 13,000 people. Eric Krathwohl of the Save Our Dam community group and Neil Shea of the Ipswich River Watershed Association came on NightSide to debate this issue.
