In today’s episode, we examine the mysterious death of Robert Wone, a Washington D.C. attorney who was fatally stabbed inside the home of three friends while staying the night in August 2006. Season 4 Episode 99 - Send Help (2026) begins as a corporate nightmare about failed promotions and frat-boy executives, then abruptly crashes into a deserted-island psychodrama where survival skills become a weapon. A socially discarded office employee discovers she’s wildly competent at staying alive while the rich idiot beside her remains committed to being the worst person imaginable. The movie escalates from awkward workplace humiliation to poisoning, fake castration, cliff deaths, and golf club murder with the confidence of a film actively losing its mind in real time. It’s mean, sweaty, completely unhinged, and somehow ends as a satire about self-help branding and celebrity culture.

The spiders arrive in such absurd numbers that the movie eventually stops pretending humans are still in charge of anything. It’s chaotic and completely committed to the idea that nature saw mankind and said, “absolutely not.”

Just days later, her dismembered remains were discovered behind a grocery store in Bethany, Oklahoma. Early arrests and chilling allegations hinted at something far more sinister beneath the surface. But the case quickly unraveled. What followed was a years-long investigation that seemed to go nowhere, leaving behind more questions than answers.
