This week is all about fantasy suites! We talk about this pretty straightforward episode with not a lot of tangents! Who knew that was possible?! Michelle goes first and gets lathered up with butter, then Bri has to set up camp around some dead leaves, and Rachael gets the Ghost date (apparently this is a reference not everyone will get and Jose is very sad about that). Oh and if it wasn't clear that Rachael was a frontrunner, she's also the only one who gets fireworks at the end of her date.

This week Jose is joined once more by Shaliny Ray (@shalini_ray) to discuss the latest episode in the Matt James saga of The Bachelor. We're about to go to Hometowns week, but there are too many girls left, so this episode is a bloodbath from the start. We left last episode with Heather crashing a cocktail party, and we pick up at that point. Drama ensues. Two surprise one-on-ones and a tepid group date make for some excruciating moments full of tears and sadness. We say farewell to a fan favorite, and we trim the numbers down to a Final Four. 

Shalini and I also discuss the recent shake-ups in Bachelor Nation, including Chris Harrison's removal for After The Final Rose, and our general thoughts on holding people accountable for their past and present actions.

This week we talk about Matt's first ever one-on-one and group dates with special guests Eduardo and Vera! Bri and Sarah are up for one-on-ones while 18 girls have to battle it out on a group date. This episode had a lot: ATVs, hot tubs, wedding pictures between people who have only met once before, women in wedding dresses running in a forest in Western PA throwing paint at each other, airplane rides, tearful conversations about past trauma, "gestures", someone fainting, orchids, Victoria's bra straps, shaky cam footage, an ATV accident, the worst dress you'll ever see, and a chill laid back guy trying to find love. Truly a lot to unpack and we're up to the task.
