Morning Bible Study ~

Even after being killed by those in opposition, Paul did not allow fear to set in; or stop Him from continuing to disciple those in all the places he's travelled to during this missionary journey. Doing so allows the people to acknowledge the power of the Lord; both, for those whom were preached to and those that were part of killing them. To see, and to strengthen, and encourage those that have recently come to the Faith; that the whole purpose He has us here, is to do His Will above our own. The Lord will help you accomplish it; just choose Him.

The Lord comes for our good, not to condemn us. He came to deliver us from sin, sickness, disease, death, and the curse; in order to clearly hear Him and His wisdom, guidance, and instruction for you and your life. To teach you His ways, demonstrated through His acts (miracles, signs, and wonders).

Paul and Barnabus were teaching the people who God is. His nature, His character, and His desire for them.  Rightly attributing God's qualities and God's goodness to Himself, so the people can gain understanding and steward that wisdom and revelation for their own lives.

The works of the flesh are evident; and, when they're tested will fire, they will  not remain. But, the word of the Lord is forever. So it becomes very evident, even in the moment, if we aren't following the the pattern example set forth in Christ. Christ brought everything before the Lord. He did not move, He did not act or speak unless it was what His Father was saying or do what his father was doing. So pass everything before before by in front of our Lord and Savior Jesus; to get Christs results.

We are here to make a choice. Will you choose God to be your God? Or will you serve the devil; and including him in that choice is serving yourself? It's still not serving God. God has to be our God and we have to be His people. That that's the choice the Lord is looking for; and hopes, wills, and desires that we would make. He also gave us free will to make that choice.

Let's not do anything rationally, but only when we are prompted when the Lord tells us now's the time. Now, go now say this to these people. Now do this thing, and do it in this manner. But, that comes from how we pattern our structure our lives. Do we allow the Lord to have time and opportunity and when He does speak? And, He's speaking all the time. Do we immediately hear Him, clearly hear Him, accurately hear Him; and then act on His word, applying it to our lives and walk of faith? Because that's the way we'll see the results Jesus the Christ had in His earthly ministry.

The Lord is looking for people who will do His Will, placing it above their own. Why would the Lord choose people who won't do His Will? Let's continue our discussion of the podcast episode Called and Chosen; to understand the Lord's perspective and the opportunity He gives every person.

God is calling you saying,  love Me, hey, walk with Me. I'll deliver you, I'll save you. And for the ones that He knows will say yes to Him, beyond lip service; He has assigned roles to those people, for fulfilling His plans and His purpose on the earth.

The Word of God, when it rubs up against us, brings to the surface the things that we hide underneath. In the synagogue were people walking around pretending to love God, and had everyone convinced that fact. But, when the Truth showed up, what was in their heart was exposed; because of the word of God, bringing light caused, what was in them to come to the surface. They weren't able to hide anymore.

Jesus kept a heart and an attitude towards God that He was willing to do what the Lord wanted, and he was not grumbling and complaining in doing it. He wasn't angry about it. He was glad to cooperate, regardless of the cost towards him. So likewise, I have to do what the Lord has for me to accomplish, in the race He's given me to run; as you, for yours.  Let's run it in such a way where we fulfill all He has for us to do; receiving the prize at the end with joy and gladness.
