The Priesthood (Aaron and his sons) were clothing themselves, or putting on, with the colors that represent Jesus the Christ as our great High Priest (Blue), as the King of Kings (Purple), as our Savior (Red), and as the Son of God (White). We are instructed to put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh. Let's let's submit every area and aspect of our life to the Lord, so His nature, character, and attributes can't help but be observed by all.

A time of preparation comes along with the anointing. King David's chosen by the Lord and anointed to be king. He also was on the run from King Saul for a significant amount of time. We need to renew our mind concerning the anointing; being able to focus beyond instant power we're supposed to have to be able to do what we are able to do. Yes, it does give supernatural ability; but preparation is character development. Developing or conforming us to the image of Jesus the Christ. Having His character, nature, and attributes continuously demonstrated in every area and aspect of our life.

We have to understand the plan of the Lord and what he's doing right. Yes, it goes back to earth as a choosing ground. Also, His say as for your life; how to understand and operate in the world of the Lord and what He's doing, how to come into alignment with that. And what he's doing is purifying the heavenly community.

Each of us, must care for the lamp, which is Jesus the Christ, in our life. Ensuring that we remain attentive to Him and His Will for us; not providing an opportunity for the Light to grow dim or burn out. The Lord has already provided everything we need; we then need to apply what He's given us.

Like a loving parent, our Heavenly Father has put safeguards in place to protect us; not to box us in or limit us. Just like in Job, a hedge of protection was placed all around Him and what he had, to ward off the attacks of the enemy. But, just like little children, we must view the safeguards with a right perspective. Our Heavenly Father only does things for our good or benefit.

The Lord always gives us signs and symbols to assist us in accurately understanding Him. But they also serve as a reminder of who He desires to be in our lives and the blessings He has bestowed upon us.

The refining process is to save our life, to save our soul; it is not to make God better in any way. So when He disciplines us, when He teaches us, when He refines, us when He speaks with us, when He takes his time with us it's because He's gracious and because of his love. But also, because it's for our good and for our benefit alone.

Everything the Lord created was for a sign and a symbol for us; to let us know who He is. He completed this even before the generations came and specifically asked to see signs, symbols, or proof of who God is. Many still missed it. Rejecting the very things they asked for when they were presented. Let's learn from their actions; and, remain willing to hear and see all the things the Lord has already given, which demonstrate who He is.
