After raising their own children, John and Helen purchased a mobile home and traveled to communities around the US and Canada educating and supporting families in helping their adult children in finding a partner in marriage. When asked by parents when they should begin educating themselves about how to do this, John recommends, "As soon as a couple is blessed in marriage, they should begin thinking and preparing for raising their future children...they first learn about how to give and receive love in the family.
